How it works

Pick how long your whole workout should run and press Start session — the big clock counts the session down so you can keep your training tight. Each time you finish a set, tap a rest button (or set a custom rest). The rest clock counts down, ticks for the last three seconds, then plays a short beep and stops by itself. There’s nothing to dismiss — just pick up the bar for your next set. While a session is running we keep your screen awake (on supported phones) and give a quick buzz when a timer ends, so it works even with sweaty hands.

Why didn’t it beep the first time?
Phone browsers only allow sound after you’ve tapped something. Any tap on this page unlocks it — the chip next to the Sound tick reads Sound ready once audio is live. If it still says otherwise, press Test beep.
It beeped at first, then went quiet mid-workout
That happens when the phone suspends the page’s audio — a call, a screen lock, or switching apps. The rest alarm is now queued on the browser’s audio clock, which isn’t throttled in the background, and the page re-arms it every time you come back. If audio still can’t be woken, a backup sound and the vibration fire instead. On iPhone, check the side ring/silent switch — it mutes browser audio no matter what the page does.
Does the timer keep going if my screen locks?
The countdown is based on real time, so it stays accurate. We also request a screen wake-lock during a session on phones that support it, so the display stays on.
Can I rest longer than the session?
Rests run independently of the session clock — the session keeps counting down while you rest, because rest is part of your workout.
