What you get

The materials, your trainers and your staff.

An off-the-shelf course teaches somebody else’s systems. We start from what your people need to be able to do and build the program around it. Then we train your trainers, your staff, or both, depending on the program.

Custom materials

Training written for your systems, your procedures and your terminology: slide decks, workbooks, hands-on exercises and reference guides. You own them, and can use them however you like.

Train the trainer

We train your own trainers to present the program: the content, the exercises and how to run the sessions. Your business can then keep delivering it in house.

Your trainers Run it in house

Staff training, Australia-wide

We train the end users directly too, at your sites in any state or territory. One office, or a rollout across several locations.

Already have the training materials?

We’ll deliver in-house training for your company from the materials you already use. We learn your content, then travel to you and run the staff training sessions.

Four areas

What we build training in.

These are fields we work in ourselves. Plenty of programs cross more than one: a CAD rollout is a software project and an engineering one.

Computers

The machines and networks your staff rely on every day: operating systems, hardware, files and accounts, security habits, and getting new starters productive on your setup.

Operating systems Hardware & networks Security habits

Software

The applications your business runs on: Microsoft 365, line-of-business systems, in-house tools and new platform rollouts, taught around your configuration and your processes.

Mechanical engineering

Engineering fundamentals for technical teams: reading and producing engineering drawings, precision measurement and tolerances, and how machining, welding and fabrication processes work.

Engineering drawings Measurement & tolerances Machining & fabrication

CAD

3D modelling for design and drafting teams: parametric parts, assemblies and engineering drawings, through to getting a model made as a real part. Packages include Autodesk Inventor, Onshape and FreeCAD.

Who it’s for

Technical industries and software companies running staff training sessions. Some need a program nobody sells off the shelf: a new system going in, a procedure that lives in a few people’s heads, a technical skill taught your way. Others already have the materials and need someone to present them.

What a program includes

  • Scoping: who needs to learn what, and what they should be able to do afterwards
  • A course outline you approve before the materials are written
  • Slide decks, workbooks and hands-on exercises built on your systems and examples
  • Train-the-trainer sessions, so your own trainers can run the program
  • Staff training sessions at your sites, anywhere in Australia
  • Materials you own outright, to reuse however you like
  • One team from the first outline to the last session

Already have training materials? We can skip the build and present yours in house.

How a program comes together

Scope

We work out who the training is for, what they need to be able to do afterwards, and how many sessions and sites it takes. You get an outline and a quote.

Build

We write the materials and exercises around your systems and examples. You review them before anyone is in a room.

Train

We train your trainers, your staff, or both, at your sites. The materials stay with you.

FAQ

Common questions about custom training

What does custom mean here?
The program is written for your business. It isn’t a generic course with your logo added: the examples and exercises come from your own systems and procedures, and you approve the outline before the materials are written.
Which subjects do you cover?
Computers, software, mechanical engineering and CAD. If your topic sits close to one of those, ask. We’ll tell you plainly whether it’s something we can teach well.
We already have training materials. Can you present them?
Yes. If your company already has its training materials, we can deliver in-house staff training sessions from them, at your sites. We go through the material with you beforehand so the sessions match how your business works.
Do you train our trainers, or our staff?
Both, depending on the program. We can train your own trainers to present the material, train the end users directly, or do both.
Who owns the training materials?
You do. The materials we develop for your business are yours, and you can use them however you like: reprint them, change them, and keep running the training with your own trainers.
Where do you deliver?
Australia-wide. We travel to your sites in any state or territory, whether that’s one office or several locations. For sites outside Sydney, travel and accommodation are added to the quote.
How is it priced?
In two parts. Delivery is a day rate, from $4,000 + GST a day ($4,400 incl. GST), for staff training sessions, train-the-trainer days and in-house delivery of materials you already have. Program design, the work of developing the materials, is billed at $160/hr inc GST, or as a fixed fee once the scope of the job is known. For sites outside Sydney, travel and accommodation are added to the quote.
How is this different from your AI workshops?
The AI workshops are a set format at a published price, run in Microsoft 365 Copilot, Claude or ChatGPT. Custom enterprise training is a program developed from scratch for your own systems, procedures and people. If AI tools are the subject, start with the workshops.
