Exact age, done properly

Working out an exact age is fiddlier than it looks because months have different lengths and leap years add a day. This tool counts complete years, then complete months, then the leftover days — the same way you’d say “26 years, 5 months and 20 days”. It also totals the whole span in months, weeks and days, and counts down to the next birthday, which is handy for forms, eligibility dates and milestones.

Can I work out age on a future or past date?
Yes — set the “age at date” field to any date to see how old someone was, or will be, then.
Does it handle leap-year birthdays?
Yes. The day count is exact, and a 29 February birthday is counted on the right day.
